At Squareye Television our production process includes pre-production, production and post-production.
Pre-Production: The Brief
There would normally be a meeting to discuss your requirements and to agree the brief. Following on from that we would prepare a written proposal and an initial production budget. Once this has been agreed we would ask for written confirmation that we are to proceed. All the production elements will now be planned and a production schedule drawn up. If required we would also prepare a hand drawn storyboard showing each element of the film prior to filming.
Production: The Shoot
This is always the most exciting part of the process for our clients. For some, being on a video shoot for the first time can be a great experience. All Squareye Television production staff are highly experienced in their respective fields and will come together to start creating your film.
Post-Production: The Edit
Post-production or editing is when our creative team of video editors get involved. The shot footage is uploaded onto our in-house edit suite and work can begin. Editing can be a slow process so we invite our clients in for a viewing when the production is around 80% complete for their comments. Generally we offer two rounds of alterations before submitting the final film for sign off.
Delivery: Upload / Social Media / TV Broadcast
With all the hard work behind us we now focus our thoughts on making your film available in the format you require. This could be uploading to social media such as YouTube, or a hand out format like DVD or USB stick. We will handle all of this for you. Understanding of video codecs helps us to produce optimized video files for all the major sharing sites.
